Welcome to Rhythm and Grooves
the #1 weekend for West African drumming heads up North!
STOP PRESS: NO RHYTHM AND GROOVES THIS YEAR!
We at Rhythm and Grooves Central have decided to do something a little different this year. We've decided to have a break from hosting Rhythm and Grooves as we have known it for the last four years, and instead we plan to have one or maybe two one-day workshops at venues in Hebden Bridge, and then an event at the Trades Club in the evening.
The date for this amazing event will be 10th October 2009.
We will of course keep you posted as and when more information becomes available - if you want to know more, make sure you're on the mailing list.
Thank you to everyone who came to Rhythm and Grooves 2008, it was a blast! Thanks goes out to the teachers who did a fantastic job, to the performers for entertaining us, and to everyone else for making it a truly memorable event.
Have a look at the fantastic photos of this year's event here. If you have photos of your own that you'd like to share with everyone, please do upload them here.

If you have been before, you know what to expect. If you haven't, this is what other people have said:
"It was a great honour to participate in an event led by such accomplished, gifted and inspirational teachers."
"...the whole experience has left me feeling energised, inspired and touched to the core."
"The warm welcome, laid back atmosphere and people's willingness to share, on all levels, was most uplifting and a credit to the environment you all created through good planning and organisation."
